Key areas of responsibility:

You will be actively engaged in everything that Ember Search does. Your role will be to:

  • To source candidates and manage them through the selection process
  • To build and grow the practitioner network and use this to source candidates and opportunities
  • To build relationships with existing clients and identify new roles to source

To source candidates and manage them through the selection process

  • Source candidates through our advertising, our database, the MS360° Network, ‘head hunting’ or one of our associates
  • Interviewing and assessing prospective applicants and matching them with vacancies at client companies
  • Drawing up short-lists
  • Organising interviews and selection events
  • Helping applicants to finesse their CV and to prepare for interviews
  • Negotiating contracts

To build relationships with existing clients

  • To maintain regular contact and build relationships with nominated clients
  • To identify new roles that Ember Search can source and sell our services to be awarded the brief

Growing and supporting the EmberNET Network

  • Contacting Ember’s associates, selling the concept and signing them up to the network
  • Identifying new members – be these applicants, referrals, clients or other people you meet
  • Engaging with the EmberNET community to identify new client opportunities
  • Building relationships with members of the community to source candidates

Person requirements:

  • Great inter-personal skills – a born networker, able to build trust and relationships quickly through direct contact and the use of technology in communications
  • Confident with a positive outlook and dynamic approach to problem-solving
  • Organised, methodical and efficient ways of working
  • Tenacious and driven
  • High energy
  • Innovative and creative – able to propose solutions and new ideas to transform and improve ways of working
  • Flexible, adaptable, versatile!
  • Able to work independently without supervision
  • Excellent MS Office skills – Word and Excel
